We at Essex Free Library are saddened to share that our much-loved pet fish, Goldie, is no longer with us. Goldie died this past winter, following a brief illness. We know that many of our library friends were very fond of Goldie, which is why we have decided to share this sad news.
It can be a very difficult experience to lose a beloved pet. In recognition of this, and as a way to celebrate Goldie, join us in a special storytime video on the topic of pet loss.
