Everyone loves to play with Legos. Each week, an ESP staff member will present the participants with a set of challenges such as the Blind Build, Amazing Mazes, the Name Game, or Musical Monsters.

Let the staff from the Edge of Essex give your child a fun, active hour of tennis. Children will learn basic tennis skills while playing fun games. Racquets can be provided if needed. Please make sure your child wears comfortable clothing and sneakers for this program.

Intermediate Mtn. Bike 230925 B

This 5-week clinic is designed to grow and challenge young riders’ single track and “mountain bike” experiences. We will focus on safety awareness, proper technique, hill climbing, technical challenges, skill-building, trail etiquette, and fun. Riders should already be comfortable riding their bikes on easy single-track trails with rock and root challenges.

*Students will bike to Saxon Hill from FMS with the instructor. In the case of severe weather, this class will not be able to meet.*

What better way to spend time after school than being crafty? Join our ESP staff to create crafts you will want to keep. Your child will be bringing home projects and the desire to create more. With lots of fun and even more mess, your child will wish to sign up again and again.

With 16,000 square feet of climbing and a high ropes adventure course with over 20 different elements, the possibilities are endless. Join us as your child builds confidence, makes new friends, stays active, and has a blast.

Forest Discovery 230924 A

Would you rather be outside with the trees, rocks, and water than cooped up inside? Join us in the forests behind Foster Road Park and Sandhill Park as we hike around the various terrains to learn about and identify native trees and rocks. Enjoy a campfire and smores on the last day of the program to celebrate our hard work.

*Proper footwear with good tread is required.*

Paint and Sip 230920 A

If you love painting, sipping juice boxes and are ready to learn some new watercolor techniques, this program is for you. Each week a new project and technique will be introduced. All you need to bring is your creative mind.

*This program will be taught virtually by Cassandra Gengras, the art teacher at Hiawatha. An ESP monitor will be present to provide materials and classroom management.*
